Xcell Repair Plus offers a 90-day warranty on all parts used in computer repairs, upgrades, and modifications. This warranty covers any defects or failures in the parts during normal use.
After the 90-day warranty, some parts may still be covered under the manufacturer’s warranty. Manufacturer warranty terms vary, so coverage will depend on their specific conditions.
If a part fails after the 90-day period but is still under the manufacturer’s warranty, a labor fee will apply for replacing the faulty component. This fee is charged regardless of whether the failure occurs within the manufacturer’s warranty period, as we are not responsible for the cost of replacement parts or handling the manufacturer’s warranty claim process.
Xcell Repair Plus offers a 90-day to 1-year limited warranty on replacement parts for smartphones, tablets, and game consoles. Warranty duration may vary depending on the specific component.
The specific coverage and duration of your warranty will be clearly indicated on your receipt and tracked through your repair ticket in our system for your convenience.
If a covered repair fails under normal use within the applicable warranty period, we will repair or replace the affected part at no additional charge.
Manufacturer defects: Any issues arising from defects in the original manufacturing process, such as faulty components or parts.
Touch responsiveness issues: Problems with the screen not responding to touch correctly or inconsistently.
Display defects: Issues such as lines, dead pixels, or discoloration that affect the screen’s functionality or appearance.
Screen lifting due to adhesive failure: If the screen begins to lift or detach due to a failure of the adhesive used during the original assembly or repair process.
Cracks, scratches, or cosmetic damage: This includes any physical imperfections to the device’s exterior or screen that don’t affect its functionality.
Water or liquid damage: We cannot cover repairs for damage caused by spills, moisture, or exposure to liquids.
Damage from drops, pressure, or misuse: Any damage resulting from accidents, mishandling, or external forces such as dropping the device or applying excessive pressure.
Normal wear and tear: This includes gradual deterioration that naturally occurs with regular use, such as battery performance degradation or fading of exterior materials over time.
***Any device or part showing signs of physical damage (such as cracks, scratches, or dents) or liquid damage is excluded from warranty coverage.***
Repair Timelines: Xcell Repair Plus strives to complete repairs as quickly as possible. However, due to the nature of electronic repairs and factors outside our control, exact completion times cannot be guaranteed.
Notification of Delays: Customers will be promptly notified of any delays or changes to estimated timelines.
Liability for Delays: Xcell Repair Plus is not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control.
Service Refusal & Refunds: We reserve the right to refuse service or issue refunds at our discretion in cases of abuse, misuse, or violation of these terms.
Third-Party Status: Xcell Repair Plus is an independent, third-party repair provider and is not affiliated with device manufacturers or insurance companies.
Impact on Manufacturer’s Warranty: Repairs performed by Xcell Repair Plus may void the manufacturer’s warranty on your device. Customers are advised to verify existing warranty coverage with the manufacturer prior to authorizing repairs.
Manufacturer Warranty Coverage: Most manufacturers’ one-year limited warranties cover defects in hardware and accessories but do not cover accidental damage, cosmetic damage, software issues, or damage caused by unauthorized repairs. Warranty coverage typically begins on the original purchase date.
Types of Parts: Replacement parts may include Genuine, Refurbished, Pulled, or high-quality third-party components, depending on availability and customer preference.
Ownership of Replaced Parts: Once service is completed and payment has been received, all replaced or removed parts become the property of Xcell Repair Plus.
If you choose to cancel or modify an order after a part has been ordered, a refund will be issued for the part cost, minus a 15% restocking fee.
Full Payment Required: Full payment is required prior to device pickup.
Release of Device: Devices will not be released until all charges for repairs or services have been paid in full.
Data Security: Xcell Repair Plus cannot guarantee the security or preservation of data on devices that have not been backed up.
Responsibility for Data Loss: While reasonable precautions are taken during repairs, we are not responsible for any data loss resulting from repair services. Customers are strongly advised to back up all important data prior to service.
Optional Data Backup Service: We offer optional data backup services for an additional fee. Please ask a team member for more information.
Pickup Deadline: Devices must be picked up within 90 days of receiving the repair completion notification.
Unclaimed Devices: Devices that are not claimed within this timeframe will become the property of Xcell Repair Plus. They may be data wiped, recycled, or used for parts.
